CommentsThe troughs with MDFCTA numbers [1254] and [1255] were identical. Both were erected January 1891 near Acton Park in Uxbridge Road opposite Birkbeck Grove. Both were the gift of J.C. Hopkins £150.0.0. The trough with MDFCTA number [1254] was removed in 1965. The trough with MDFCTA number [1255] was removed in 1960. This trough is one of the pair and was moved to Stoke Manor farm in May 1961. The other trough is still outside Acton Park. Who was J.C.Hopkins?
