| Comments | The owner of 14A Common Lane (Town & Country Roads Ltd) didn't know where the trough was located originally. My best guess, with no evidence apart from the date on the trough, is this is the trough that was erected in London Road, Greenhithe, Kent in August 1880 which was removed in 1957. This trough is one of a few that contain the inscription "METROPOLITAN DRINKING FOUNTAIN AND CATTLE TROUGH ASSOCIATION" instead of the more usual "METROPOLITAN DRINKING FOUNTAIN & CATTLE TROUGH ASSOCIATION".
