CommentsThis trough was originally on Blackburn Road at the junction of Belmont Road near the Lawson's arms, now the Three Pigeons. The trough was donated by the Misses Wolfenden and was removed to the grounds of Smithills Hall in 1952. This trough is one of two in Bolton that were donated by the Misses Wolfenden - the current location of the other is unknown.
