CommentsI believe this trough was originally erected in November 1888, as MDFCTA number [1189], in Theobalds Road, Holborn, opposite the flank wall of 25 Bedford Row. The gift of Mr. J.Croker for £56.0.0. It was removed at request of Lord Autherbridge (?) and erected, as MDFCTA number [1500], in Hackney July-1901. It was moved to the corner of Dalston Lane & Queen’s Road. How and when did it get relocated to Chislehurst? The recent history of this trough is explained here. This trough was stolen in late 2019.
