Original locationRickmansworth. Croxley Green
Date erectedJanuary 1900
CommentsTwo fountain cattle and dog trough 6ft 6in (some MDFCTA records wrongly describe this trough as 9ft 6in). Main Road Ricksmanworth. Erected by Public subscription per Mrs Ibbotson £97.0.0. Two troughs appear to have the same MDFCTA number [1439]. See also Rickmansworth. Although this trough was erected in January 1900 why does it contain "1901" as an inscription on the front? It looks like this trough and the other trough from Rickmansworth are a "matching pair".
