Type and sizeTrough 1b 10ft 6in (sic) granite
Original locationBattersea, Spencer Park (originally Wandsworth Common)
Date erectedNovember 1896 (originally August 1875)
CommentsThis trough was originally erected in August 1875, as MDFCTA number [0402], opposite St. Annes Road. The cost was defrayed by local subscriptions though Mrs. Walsh. Removed by request of Board of Works Nov-1896 and re-erected, as MDFCTA number [1351], at Straithblaine Road on the corner of Windmill Road. The MDFCTA records claim this trough is 9ft 6in but it is definitely slightly larger at 10ft 6in. This is the only 10ft 6in trough that I've encountered so far.
