CommentsThis fountain was originally erected in Elgin Road in July 1882 for a cost of £50.0.0 paid for by a Miss Nightingale. It was removed in December 1882 by order of the Paddington vestry and re-erected at Sloane Square. In August 1889 it was removed at request of the Chelsea vestry because of an alteration of the roadway and re-erected on the opposite side of road. This is one of several Design-124 drinking fountains.
